Strong Fruit Cage Wall Netting, ideal for all fruit cages as well as poultry or pet runs.
Our Fruit Cage Wall Netting is a rigid netting for fruit cages, poultry or pet runs. Manufactured from extruded plastic and with a 17mm x 17mm mesh size, it has high tensile strength and can protect against larger browsing animals such as deer.
The netting is 2m in width and can be purchased in lengths from 1m up to 40m.
Net clips are available separately in packs of 20 or packs of 100.

Easy to build using a bought kit and then a second cage using my own home-made support structure BUT I needed a 12 inch high chicken wire base as rabbits ate their way through the plastic! (I hope it gave them stomach ache!)

The delivery time was great and the ability for me to build something to my own size and shape also helped. The quality seems good and the cage is still standing!! The only pieces I’m slightly concerned about are the clips that are meant to secure the net to the tubes. They’re not very strong and seem to ping off quite easily. I’ve used many cable ties on most of the cage and have limited the clips to the bit I need to open occasionally.

I have a problem on my allotment from unwanted attention by pigeons, rabbits and muntjac deer who all think I grow vegetables just to feed them! My first attempts at cages a year ago were highly effective at keeping my crops secure but in the last month or so I have found that rabbits chew through the netting and have a feast at my expense! Any suggestions welcome!
