Pond covers provide protection for your fish against predators such as herons or cats as well as preventing the build up of fallen leaves and other debris in your pond. The low profile means they don't stand out in your garden, whilst the add-on legs allow you to raise them up over any existing plants if you wish.
Mainframe pond covers are supplied as complete kits including aluminium tubes, UV-stabilised polypropylene molded plastic connectors, suitable pond netting and clips. 1ft legs can be added to suit your project. If you require your cover to be raised more than 1ft above your pond, why not look at our vegetable cages, which use the same netting, or contact us for other options. Alternatively, you can buy all the tubes, connectors and netting separately and build a cover to your exact requirements.
*Our pond covers are not designed to prevent children falling into ponds - small children should not be left unattended near your pond.

Pond Cover - just the job!
Perfect solution for me ... lightweight, moveable, heron-proof, great price for a 8ftx6ft frame Easy to put together As others have said, don't bother with the clips (they randomly pop off!), buy some cable ties and job done Highly recommended ( I work in aquatics!)

Final product is great and covers the required area perfectly. Putting the frame and net together is a two person job really and the clips can spring off so tie wraps are a better option. Overall very happy.

Delivered second day after order. I have used cable ties and the.clips supplied as they seem to jump off . Have netting left over to use as spare . Overall look is neat, the cats ,small birds frogs and the like can still use the pond. Time will tell if it keeps the heron from getting the fish.

Bought the pond frame,which is good value, but the plastic corner connector are too fragile. Having installed the frame around the pond 2 of the connectors have broken, which left to a lot of work to replace as the broken connectors have to be drilled out.

It was a good item and as described but the corner 3 way connectors being plastic are a weak point and 1 broke during assembly, metal the same as the poles would be better, also the net clips tend to break I half when being fitted, easily replaced with twine though and the cover is easy to move and see the fish through.

The pond kit was well put together and very easy to assemble. The only gripe I have is with the netting and clips. I received two colours of netting (green and black). As both the covers are for the same pond, it looks a bit odd but I can live with that. As for the plastic clips, they are simply not fit for purpose. Of the first 20 that I used, 4 snapped while I was trying to clip them in place and 2 popped off (into the depths of the pond) while I was tensioning the netting. I suspect I may lose a few more when the weight of leaves accumulates on the netting.Perhaps this is an issue that needs to be looked into. Nevertheless, I am pleased with the overall look of the pond cover.

Prompt delivery easy to construct, my only complaint is the plastic clips either jumped off or broke (not all of them.) Otherwise I would highly recommend.

Very good customer service. Answered my emails promptly to explain why there was a delay in delivery. They were waiting more clips. Told to expect delivery on Monday but arrived early in the Friday.
